Arnold Knaub scored five goals to help Kazakhstan win emphatically, but they agonisingly fell just short of finishing top of their FIFA Futsal World Cup™ group on goal difference.
Kazakhstan will now return to Andijan, where they played their first two games, for the last 16. Their opponents will be the Group E winners, either Portugal or Morocco, on Thursday. Group D winners Spain will take on one of the best third-placed teams.
